Hobie captured the hearts of his adoptive family, Christin Bernhardt and Joern Riemer, when they first saw him at an animal shelter in California.
Upon winning the contest, Hobie received a year’s supply of dog food and a $1,000 donation to the animal rescue organization. The little dog and his family graciously donated it to PUP Laguna Beach, Hobie’s former home.
